Short Story Prompts

As many of you many know I am a fan of the spontaneous story. The sudden rush of inspiration, the hold-no-bars freedom of first-draftery, and the instant gratification of accomplishment through creation.  It's not about editing, it's not about grandiosity. It is merely *ahem* TO GET YOU TO START WRITING. Which is ultimately the only thing standing between the non-writer and their first manuscript.

Six Word Stories

These are great because if done correctly, it'll tell the whole story (I.e. beginning to end). While this is a great way to write on twitter, it is also an amazing pool of creative ideas.
